Terms of use

These terms govern your use of gigsescrow.com and related smart contracts on Arc Testnet (chain ID 5042002) and Arc Mainnet (chain ID 5042). By connecting a wallet or creating a listing, you agree to them. This agreement is in English.

Last updated 17 September 2026

1. What GigsEscrow is

GigsEscrow is a non-custodial interface to smart contracts on Arc Testnet (chain ID 5042002) and Arc Mainnet (chain ID 5042). You pick a network on the site, connect a self-custodied wallet, and settle in ERC-20 USDC. We do not hold your private keys, we are not a bank, and we are not a payment gateway.

Testnet USDC has no cash value. Mainnet uses real USDC. Listings, orders, and contracts on one network are separate from the other. Do not send assets to the wrong network.

2. Products

File: the buyer pays USDC through FileFeeRouter, then may download the file. There is a 48-hour “not as described” window. A refund, if any, is a seller-signed USDC transfer back to the buyer; download access is then revoked.

Gig: the hirer locks USDC in GigEscrow. The worker delivers, then the hirer releases. If nobody releases, the contract’s timeout rules apply (including operator refund / auto-release windows described in the Guide Book).

Job: the hirer locks a budget. A worker accepts without paying extra. One worker per job. Cancel/refund rules for unclaimed jobs are in the Guide Book.

Token: the seller locks an ERC-20 in AssetEscrow. The buyer pays USDC and receives the tokens in one on-chain swap. USDC itself cannot be listed.

3. Fees

Protocol fees are 0% on both networks. The contract owner may later set a protocol fee, capped at 10% of the listed USDC price. Network (gas) costs are separate and paid by the wallet that sends the transaction.

Listed prices are in ERC-20 USDC (6 decimals). Native gas USDC on Arc is a different unit. You are responsible for holding enough of each.

4. Wallets, listings, and risk

You are responsible for your wallet, seed phrase, device, and the addresses you send to. Transactions on Arc are public and generally irreversible.

Listings and profile text must be lawful and accurate. We may pause, archive, or refuse listings that are abusive, infringing, or that attempt to list USDC as a token lot.

GigsEscrow does not guarantee counterparties, delivery quality, or that a smart-contract call will succeed. You use the software and contracts as-is, without warranty.

5. Not advice; limitation

Nothing on the site is legal, tax, or investment advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GigsEscrow and its operators are not liable for lost tokens, failed transactions, listing disputes, or testnet resets.

If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date is the version in force. Continued use after a change is acceptance.

6. Contact

GigsEscrow is operated at https://gigsescrow.com. On-chain records are on the explorer for the network you used (ArcScan on testnet, Arc Explorer on mainnet). For product how-to, see How it works and the Guide Book.
