We keep as little as we need to run a wallet-signed marketplace. We do not ask for email or passwords. On-chain activity is public by design.

1. Who we are

GigsEscrow (gigsescrow.com) is the interface that stores listing metadata and order records so the app can show status, downloads, and chat for in-process work. Smart-contract settlement happens on Arc Testnet or Arc Mainnet, which we do not control.

2. What we store

Wallet address (your identifier). Listing title, description, price, kind, optional cover image, and on-chain escrow or router addresses.

Orders: buyer and seller wallets, status, amounts, transaction hashes, dispute timestamps, and for files a hashed download token. Optional profile display name, avatar, and bio.

In-process service/job chat messages, if you use inbox. Locale preference in the browser (localStorage / cookie).

We do not collect government ID, card numbers, or seed phrases. Never paste a seed phrase into this site.

3. Why we store it

To show the marketplace, attach payments to orders, let buyers download files they paid for, run dispute/refund/release flows, and display public profiles. Wallet signatures authorize sensitive actions (upload, manage listing, chat).

4. What is public

Active listings, public profiles, and all Arc transactions (including amounts and counterparties) are visible to anyone. Do not put secrets in titles, descriptions, or chat.

5. Third parties

Your browser talks to an Arc RPC, ArcScan, and (if you use it) the Circle faucet. Those services have their own terms. We do not sell personal data.

6. Retention and your choices

Order and listing records stay as long as needed to show history and prove a payment was attached. You can disconnect your wallet at any time. You may clear optional profile fields. On-chain records cannot be deleted by us.

If you want a listing taken down, use listing management or stop promoting it; we may also pause abusive content.
